COACH ELIZABETH

Volleyball has always been a sport I have loved. I played indoor volleyball during CEGEP in Quebec, as well as beach volleyball, but growing up I did not have nearly as many opportunities to play as I would have liked. That experience is a big part of what motivates me as a coach today.

When I moved to Whistler 5 years ago, I began volunteering as a volleyball coach at the school where I teach and quickly fell in love with coaching. I wanted to create more opportunities for young athletes in our community to play, develop, compete, and discover how much this sport has to offer.

Since then, I have coached volleyball camps every summer, organized and coached after-school league programs, and most recently led the Pemberton Peaks 15U team to a gold medal in the 2025 season.

What I love most about coaching club volleyball is working with athletes who are driven, capable, and excited to improve. As Head Coach of this years 16U team, my goal is to challenge each athlete to reach her potential, help her pursue the sport as far as she wants to take it, and most importantly help her develop a lasting love for volleyball.
